VTS America is seeking an ambitious Associate Technical Product Engineer to join our growing Product Engineering team. Position Summary
As an Associate Technical Product Engineer, you will ensure that custom-engineered HVAC solutions are technically accurate, manufacturable, cost-effective, and delivered to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with Engineering, Product Management, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Operations, and Sales, you'll support the complete product lifecycle while developing valuable technical and business experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Review customer specifications, engineering drawings, and custom product configurations.
- Verify engineering documentation before production release.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Operations, and Sales to ensure project accuracy.
- Create purchase requisitions for locally sourced custom components.
- Verify incoming custom components against engineering drawings and specifications.
- Support Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering documentation, and product configurations.
- Monitor pricing, lead times, and availability of custom components while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in improving engineering standards, documentation, and internal processes.
- Support Product Management with product enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with technical problem-solving throughout the manufacturing process.
- Help ensure projects are completed on schedule while meeting quality standards.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or expected graduation within the next few months)
- 0–2 years of engineering experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Passion for product engineering, manufacturing, and continuous learning
Preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software
- Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing or engineering
- Exposure to HVAC systems or mechanical equipment (not required—we'll train you)
