Full Job Description

Fusion Academy is the school that changes everything! We are a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 5–12. As a STEM Teacher, you’ll have the flexibility to shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues. Our diverse team of lifelong learners shares a mission to personalize education for every student — academically, socially, and emotionally. Please note: Not all campuses serve grades 4 and 5, and specific details will be shared during the interview process.

What You’ll Do:

Teach in a truly personalized way — one student at a time.
Adapt lessons and assessments to meet each learner’s needs.
Mentor each student and support their social-emotional growth.
Build strong, consistent partnerships with parents and guardians.
Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to campus life or culture.
Keep student records accurate and organized.
Invest in your own growth through reflection, feedback, and ongoing professional development.

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of science and math courses (Earth, Physical, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Earth Space, Anatomy & Physiology, Marine Biology, Zoology, Integrated, Basic Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics, Business & Consumer Math, and Calculus), following content standards — curriculum and resources provided.
Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.

Additional Details:

This position is part-time for school year 2026-2027. Training and onboarding begin in August.
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching a combination of upper-level science courses, with a focus on Anatomy & Physiology and Physics. Provide instruction in foundational and lower-level mathematics and science courses.
Special Education (SPED) background, endorsement, or experience supporting students with diverse learning needs strongly preferred.
