Location: San Antonio, TX | Nov, 2017

DESCRIPTION

Our client is looking for a Software Engineer(Hyperion Developer) to be responsible for analysis, design, and development of Hyperion's DRM application. The successful candidate will coordinate development efforts with project stakeholders, Data Warehouse, Oracle Hyperion, and Oracle EBS teams. The position includes performing detailed analysis, translating business requirements, and working closely with the leads, architects and managers to develop appropriate solutions. Typical projects include maintaining Financial Master Data objects, such as cost centers and general ledger accounts, managing hierarchies, dimension properties, and developing custom extract programs to support integration to multiple applications.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Works with the Financial Solutions technology team to develop, maintain and support metadata and build dimensionality.
Hands on development in DRM (Data Relationship Management) for maintaining Master Data \ Reference data.
Creation of custom hierarchies for financial applications.
Work in conjunction with business professionals in Finance to provide administrative support of DRM.
Design and develop technical solutions to meet defined requirements.
Participate in the development of technical standards and conventions, standard processes and leading practices.
Follow documentation, software development methodology, version control and testing, and migration standards.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems.
5+ years of direct administrative experience with Oracle Hyperion DRM.
Experience with Oracle Hyperion, Essbase, and/or HPCM.
Strong knowledge of dimensionality in corporate applications.
Working understanding of Oracle Data Relationship Governance (DRG) and how it complements DRM.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with Data warehouse and experience with ETL processes.
Understanding of Finance and Accounting Business Processes, such as Record to Report.
