Full Job Description

The Senior Manager, Meeting and Events is responsible for leading the strategy, governance, and delivery of our internal and external meetings and events portfolio, including external marketing events. This role ensures exceptional attendee experiences and delivers strong business outcomes through disciplined budget management, performance measurement and reporting, effective supplier management, and full compliance with internal guidelines.

Qualifications:

Proven history of success delivering meetings and events of all scales on time, within budget, with flawless execution.
Strong stakeholder management and collaborative interpersonal skills; experience partnering with C-suite and senior leaders and high-profile internal/external stakeholder corporate partners.
Demonstrated people leadership experience.
Experience with vendor sourcing and contract negotiation.
Strong program/project management skills (multiple concurrent workstream, timelines, risk/issue management) with high attention to detail
Ability to define and report event success metrics: for marketing events, familiarity coordinating lead capture logistics and partnering with Marketing/Sales Teams on post-event follow-up and reporting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; executive presence and on-site leadership under pressure
Experience with event technology (registration platforms, mobile apps, surveys) and partnering with internal teams to support automation reporting
Demonstrated customer care and strong care and strong problem-solving skills; sound judgment and responsiveness in dynamic, time-sensitive environments
Superior Microsoft skills in Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Responsibilities:

Partner with senior leadership and internal corporate stakeholders to set event strategy, priorities, and annual roadmaps aligned to business objectives
Provide strategic oversight for program design, attendee experience, and risk management; escalate and resolve high-impact issues as needed.
Own end-to-end governance of the meetings/event lifestyle (intake, brief, sourcing, contracting, planning, execution, and closeout), ensuring consistent processes, controls, and service levels across internal and external events
Partner with Program and Leadership teams to align participation and program goals, audiences, format and success metrics.
Lead sourcing and contract negotiation for hotels/venues and key vendors; ensure contract terms meet budget, compliance, accessibility, and risk requirements.
Own event measurement and reporting, including post-event insights, recommendations, and performance against success metrics (satisfaction, attendance/engagement, budget adherence, on-time delivery, and compliance).
Oversee purchasing controls, department card governance, invoice processing, and reconciliation/closeout for assigned programs.
Identify opportunities to innovate event formats and communication strategies to improve effectiveness and attendee experience.
Provide on-site leadership for events and ensure stakeholder debriefs.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
