Sales Estimator – Landscaping & Tree Services

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Estimator to join our growing Landscaping & Tree Services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for meeting with customers, evaluating project needs, preparing accurate estimates, presenting proposals, and closing sales for residential and commercial properties.

This position is ideal for someone with strong sales skills, estimating experience, and knowledge of landscaping, lawn care, and tree service operations.

Responsibilities

* Meet with residential and commercial clients to evaluate project needs.

* Conduct on-site property inspections and assessments.

* Prepare accurate quotes and estimates.

* Calculate labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and project costs.

* Determine manpower and resources required to complete projects efficiently.

* Present proposals and follow up with prospective customers.

* Negotiate and close sales.

* Coordinate with operations to ensure successful project execution.

* Maintain accurate customer, estimate, and sales records.

* Achieve company sales and profitability goals.

Qualifications

* Fluent English required.

* Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, estimating, landscaping, construction, lawn care, or tree services.

* Experience preparing and managing quotes and estimates.

* Knowledge of landscaping, lawn care, and tree service materials, tools, and equipment.

* Ability to calculate project costs and profit margins.

* Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

* Self-motivated and organized.

* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

* Jobber or estimating software experience

Compensation

Base Pay: $15.00 per hour

Commission Structure:

* Projects below 25% profit margin: No commission.

* Projects with 25%–44.99% profit margin: 3% of project profit.

* Projects with 45% or higher profit margin: 5% of project profit.

Projects must maintain a minimum profit margin of 25% to qualify for commission.
