Full Job Description

#Eng-IT-01

We're seeking a Failure Analysis Engineer to join an innovative engineering team supporting next-generation industry-standard server platforms. In this role, you'll investigate complex hardware failures, identify root causes down to the component level, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve product quality and reliability.

What You'll Do

Investigate customer returns, field failures, and manufacturing escalations involving server hardware.
Perform detailed failure analysis to determine root causes at the component, PCBA, and system levels.
Work closely with Design, R&D, Manufacturing, Product Engineering, Quality, Reliability, Mechanical, Hardware, and Software Engineering teams.
Support corrective actions that improve product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Participate in special product capture and quality improvement programs.
Analyze hardware failures using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs, and other diagnostic equipment.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in hardware failure analysis, hardware validation, product engineering, or electronic troubleshooting.
Experience debugging complex analog and digital circuits.
Strong knowledge of PCB/PCBA troubleshooting and component-level failure analysis.
Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, digital multimeters (DMMs), function generators, and adjustable power supplies.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, board layouts, and assembly drawings.
Experience with CAD, schematic capture, and PCB layout tools.
