Responsibilities:
- Lead daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to optimize food costs.
- Manage POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Supervise kitchen and front-of-house teams through effective training, staff development, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations by implementing rigorous food handling procedures.
- Handle customer service issues promptly to maintain high guest satisfaction levels and foster positive relationships.
- Coordinate shift management activities, including scheduling staff coverage during busy hours and overseeing day-to-day operations.
- Monitor budgeting activities, analyze sales reports, and implement strategies to improve profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a talented team aligned with the restaurant’s service philosophy.
- Oversee food production processes including cooking, food presentation, catering events, banquets, and bar services when applicable.
Skills:
- Extensive experience in food service management within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments.
- Proven supervisory experience with strong team management skills; capable of training & developing staff effectively.
- Proficiency with POS systems; adept at cash handling procedures.
- Deep understanding of food safety protocols, hygiene standards, and kitchen management practices.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues swiftly while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams in high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of inventory control techniques, budgeting principles, and food industry best practices.
- Experience in managing diverse restaurant operations including fine dining or hotel restaurant settings is preferred.
- Ability to oversee multiple responsibilities such as shift management, food production, catering events, and staff training seamlessly. Qualifications:
High school diploma is required; hospitality, culinary or business education is preferred, minimum 3+ years of restaurant management experience with strong communication skills and Serf-Safe certification. Candidate must have strong leadership, communication, organication skills and knowledge of food safety regulations and labor laws. Candidate must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as many be required.
Pay: $54,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
