Full Job Description

We have a requirement for a Senior Logistics Analyst to support an ongoing federal contract in Stafford, VA. If interested please reply with your resume, desired salary, and contact information.

Job Title: Senior Logistics Analyst

Job Location: Stafford, VA (Currently onsite three days a week. Can change in the future)

Clearance: Active Secret

Required Skills: Acquisition and life cycle logistics, not supply/warehousing. Must be familiar with REMEDY, GCSS-MC, DPAS, Material Fielding Plans (MFPs), Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), Logistics Requirements Funding Summaries (LRFSs).

LOGISTICS ANALYST - DOD5000 Experience
Relevant Skills: At least 4 years of direct program experience in the full life-cycle logistic support for a system acquisition project. Familiarity with logistics support activities and documentation dictated by DOD5000.
Experience: Prepares integrated logistic plans and policy and procedures for logistic support for major systems. Ensures that proper logistic considerations are included in system development processes at each major milestone. Assists in performing analyses to determine system maintainability, reliability, and supportability requirements. Documents results of the analyses in a report format. Develops and reviews systems acquisition projects’ operating plans and procedures to ensure logistic support considerations are included. Performs technical training, configuration management, and quality assurance.
Qualifications: Typically has 8 years’ experience providing logistic support for major systems.

Provide DoD and USMC life-cycle logistics support to the Portfolios and the

Assistant Program Executive Officer for Logistics (APEO-L). Job duties include:

1. Prepare, review, update and maintain logistics documentation, as required. This documentation includes, but is not limited to, Life-Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), Logistics Requirements and Funding Summary (LRFS), Item Unique Identification (IUID) Plans, Stock List (SL)-3 Supply Instructions (SIs), and Fielding, Deployment, Disposal, and Transition Plans.

2. Utilize the Total Force Structure Management System (TFSMS) to create, review, and update the Table of Authorized Material Control Number (TAMCN) status and TAMCN data elements on a daily basis.

3. Utilize the DoD Provisioning and cataloging process to track and review configuration items on a daily basis.

4. Utilize Remedy, Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS), and Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) systems to perform receiving, birthing, distribution, monitoring, and recording of hardware and software data.

5. The Contractor shall plan and coordinate fielding conferences and develop and maintain a Fielding Conference POC list.

6. Track the receipt and transfer of all assets assigned to PEO Digital - USMC Responsible Officers (ROs) in GCSS-MC or Property Custodian (PC) in DPAS as appropriate and support timely reconciliation of property.

7. Assist in the collection, analysis, reconciliation and forecasting of requirements to support,

replace, or upgrade Information Technology (IT) hardware and software items. (CDRL D001: Quarterly Data Collection Analysis Report)

8. Track all hardware warranty and software license use, to include confirmation of licenses in support of all IT software (SW) fielded. (CDRL D002: Monthly Hardware Warranty and Software License Status Report)

9. Track, monitor, and maintain logistics documentation electronically, within Government designated repositories.

10. Submit expected annual shipping costs to the Government based on forecasted fielding of equipment.
