Full Job Description

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Grant Research & Prospecting

Research and identify local, state, federal, corporate, and foundation grant opportunities aligned with the organization's mission.
Maintain and update a grant funding pipeline and prospect database.
Evaluate funding opportunities and determine organizational fit.
Monitor grant calendars, deadlines, and application requirements.

Grant Writing & Submission

Write compelling, accurate, and persuasive grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documentation.
Collaborate with leadership and program staff to gather information, budgets, outcomes, and supporting data.
Prepare and submit grant applications in accordance with funder requirements.
Ensure all submissions are completed accurately and on time.

Grant Management & Reporting

Track grant awards, deliverables, reporting deadlines, and compliance requirements.
Prepare and submit interim and final grant reports.
Collect program performance data and outcomes for funder reporting.
Maintain organized grant files and documentation in one drive.
Serve as the primary point of contact with funders when appropriate.

Budget & Revenue Goals

Develop and manage a grant funding strategy that supports organizational growth.
Meet or exceed annual grant revenue targets established by the Board.
Track proposal success rates and funding outcomes.
Provide regular reports on grant activity, funding projections, and awarded funds.

Qualifications Required

Proven experience in nonprofit grant research, grant writing, and grant management.
Demonstrated record of securing grant funding from foundations, corporations, and/or government sources.
Excellent written, editing, and communication skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Experience preparing grant compliance and performance reports.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and donor/grant tracking systems as well as familiarity with use of AI to support grant writing.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or related field.
Experience working with nonprofit organizations.
Knowledge of nonprofit budgeting and financial reporting.
Familiarity with grant databases such as Foundation Directory, Grant Station, or similar platforms.

Part-Time, Remote
Flexible schedule with availability to meet deadlines and participate in virtual meetings as needed.
