Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Grants Manager to lead our organization’s grant acquisition, management, and compliance efforts. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of grant funding—from researching opportunities and preparing compelling proposals to managing awarded grants and ensuring adherence to all regulatory and organizational requirements. Your strategic approach will help maximize funding opportunities, foster strong relationships with funders, and support our mission-driven initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through effective resource management and innovative business development strategies.

Responsibilities

Lead the research and identification of new grant opportunities aligned with organizational goals, including federal, state, and private sources.
Develop comprehensive grant proposals, including technical writing, budget development, and strategic planning to secure funding.
Manage the entire grant lifecycle from application submission through reporting, ensuring compliance with all federal acquisition regulations (FAR), UCC law, and other relevant legal frameworks.
Oversee vendor management and contractor management related to grant-funded projects, including procurement processes and contract negotiations.
Maintain meticulous records of all grant documentation using document management systems such as Salesforce, PeopleSoft, or ERP platforms like DocuSign for contract execution.
Monitor project progress, manage changes through change management protocols, and ensure adherence to contractual obligations through regular contract review and document review processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on proposal writing, pricing strategies, and technical documentation to strengthen funding applications.
Conduct research on legal compliance issues related to grants, intellectual property law, and UCC law to mitigate risks and ensure organizational adherence.
Foster strategic partnerships with funders and stakeholders to support ongoing business development efforts.

Qualifications

Proven experience in grants management or related roles with a strong understanding of procurement, vendor management, and contracts administration.
Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR), UCC law, intellectual property law, and legal drafting principles applicable to grants.
Demonstrated ability in proposal writing, technical writing, pricing strategies, and research for funding opportunities.
Proficiency in using Salesforce, PeopleSoft, ERP systems, DocuSign, and other document management or contract management tools.
Strong negotiation skills with experience managing contracts and contractor relationships effectively.
Excellent records management skills with attention to detail in document review and compliance documentation.
Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of accuracy and timeliness.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, law or a related field; advanced certifications in grant management or procurement are a plus.
