Position Details

Schedule: 8-hour shift
Lunch Break: 1 hour
Pay Rate: $25/hour

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain engaging learning solutions that support employee and business performance. The ideal candidate has experience creating eLearning and instructor-led training materials, managing multiple training projects, and working with multimedia learning content.

This position requires strong instructional design expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to meet aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze, design, develop, and update on-demand learning courses and curricula using tools such as Articulate 360, iSpring, or similar eLearning authoring software
Create learning objectives, design documents, storyboards, scripts, and other instructional deliverables
Design and develop learning materials for multiple delivery formats including:
- eLearning
- Instructor-led training (ILT)
- Virtual classroom training
Edit instructional and supporting materials for grammar, clarity, consistency, and content accuracy
Apply project management, communication, and problem-solving skills to successfully manage training projects and meet deadlines
Develop learning assets in various formats including print, graphics, audio, and video
Create and maintain instructional design templates and ensure consistency across training materials
Design engaging, innovative, and learner-focused instructional content aligned with audience needs
Create, edit, and integrate multimedia content including videos, graphics, audio, and interactive learning components
Perform other instructional design duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Proven experience in instructional design and eLearning development
Hands-on experience using Articulate 360, iSpring, or similar authoring tools
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

Experience creating multimedia learning content (video, audio, graphics, interactive modules)
Familiarity with LMS platforms and online learning environments
Experience supporting corporate training or professional development programs
Basic graphic design or video editing skills
