About Us
New Majority Capital (NMC) is a mission-driven organization committed to eliminating persistent wealth gaps across the United States. We believe entrepreneurship is one of the most powerful tools for building generational wealth and closing the ownership divide. Our goal is to help acquiring entrepreneurs buy the right businesses and scale them successfully, creating new wealth opportunities that impact their families and broader communities.
Our flagship accelerator, bETA (Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition), prepares underrepresented entrepreneurs to acquire businesses through structured education, network access, and capital pathways.
Beyond the accelerator, we are building a platform to meaningfully support our entrepreneurship community throughout the entirety of their acquisition journey.
The Role
New Majority Capital (NMC) is seeking a Deal Analyst to join our growing team. This role is central to NMC’s entrepreneur support ecosystem and revenue model. The Deal Analyst serves as the primary point of contact for entrepreneurs seeking deal support across all channels - bETA alumni, bank referrals, and direct prospects - fielding inbound requests efficiently, triaging needs, and ensuring partners’ time is reserved for the highest-value activities.
The Deal Analyst will own the front-line support layer across the full deal universe: from early-stage deal assessment through LOI, financing, and close. This is a high-throughput, relationship-oriented role for someone who thrives on consistent deal activity, builds scalable infrastructure, and is genuinely motivated by helping entrepreneurs get deals done.
Key Responsibilities
Entrepreneur Intake & First-Line Deal Support
- Serve as the timely first point of contact for all inbound one-on-one support requests across the full NMC entrepreneur community - bETA alumni, bank referrals, accelerator participants, and direct prospects
- Conduct intake calls to triage deal stage, complexity, and fit - routing to partners only when deal quality and complexity warrants elevated attention
- Support entrepreneurs at pre-LOI and post-LOI stages with deal assessment, deal structure guidance, and closing coordination regardless of deal source or channel
- Attend Weekly Office Hours, and additional entrepreneur support sessions to provide live deal guidance to our community
- Implement and manage a ticketing or structured request system to bring clarity, consistency and accountability to support delivery
Deal Analysis & Financial Modeling
- Validate historical adjusted EBITDAs, valuation multiples, and industry risk scores
- Build and review financial models projecting DSCR, working capital needs, break-even analysis, scenario analysis, and IRRs for equity investors and provide feedback on QOEs.
- Provide guidance and feedback on qualitative due diligence on deals.
- Review and provide feedback on LOIs prior to submission, including use of forgivable and non forgivable seller notes.
- Implement deal scoring models to evaluate opportunities through a lens of risk, reward, and portfolio fit
- Coordinate with banks and CDFIs on financing structures and working capital adjustments
- Ensure that NMC Fellows have a strong post-acquisition risk mitigation plan
Pipeline Development & Relationship Management
- Manage a robust pipeline of entrepreneurs across all channels: bETA alumni, bank referrals, broker relationships, and direct outreach
- Cultivate relationships with banking partners, equity investors, CDFIs, and financial institutions to generate and support deal flow
- Identify new entrepreneur prospects by staying current on market trends in self-funded ETA and small business acquisition
- Participate in weekly internal team meetings covering new investments and portfolio updates
Scalable Infrastructure & Knowledge Management
- Collaborate regularly with the Community Manager to ensure alignment on resource delivery and community needs — analyst handles technical deal support; Community Manager handles logistics and resource coordination
- Identify patterns in support requests and proactively develop tools or content to address recurring needs at scale
- For example: Build and maintain a repository of common deal support resources, templates, and solutions to reduce repeat one-on-one requests
- Develop and maintain industry-specific risk assessments, FAQ documentation, and intake materials
Program & Community Engagement
- Support the bETA program as needed, through guest speaking, moderating speaker panels, workshops, ad-hoc guidance etc.
- Engage in regular networking to build relationships with brokers, lenders, and other acquisition ecosystem players
- Attend industry events and webinars; summarize key takeaways for internal team
