EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position provides professional and technical support to the Warden and Operations Manager. Serve as liaison between the facility and the Office of Human Resources (OHR). The position occasionally performs recruitment and exam administration as needed by OHR. Position provides Facility orientation for new employees.
Primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assist and perform technical work for the Warden and Operations Manager in all aspects of employee management by monitoring performance planning and appraisals, ensuring compliance with mandated programs such as FMLA and FLSA, and maintaining facility employee records, files and logs according to DPA and DOC/OHR guidelines;

This position has been designated as the Facility Staff Resource Coordinator and will participate with the Warden in the employment process by completing and forwarding necessary documentation for signature to appropriate parties, scheduling interviews and appointments, serving on interview boards when appropriate, organizing and maintaining lists of interview questions, and scheduling and monitoring promotional testing as needed;

Ensure all relevant facility records are archived and maintained as required by applicable Federal / State laws, rules and regulations;

Coordinate CIPS (Colorado Inmate Phone System) inquiries and requests from staff and offenders. Maintain CIPS records for the facility and ensure compliance to CIPS rules;

Serve as the facility back up litigation coordinator by tracking, distributing, and maintaining files on legal work affecting the facility;

Other duties as assigned.
