Senior Developer – Enterprise Applications (Remote)

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer to join our team in a 100% remote role supporting enterprise Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Oracle technologies, enterprise infrastructure, application administration, and production support. This individual will play a key role in maintaining secure, reliable, and high-performing enterprise systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and support enterprise COTS applications.
- Monitor application health, performance, and availability while proactively resolving issues.
- Perform application patching, software upgrades, dependency management, and performance tuning.
- Support application deployments, release management, and configuration management across development, testing, and production environments.
- Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, database, and performance issues while minimizing operational impact.
- Monitor, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities, security findings, and technical debt within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Support Oracle Database environments, including database connectivity and application-related database troubleshooting.
- Administer and support Unix/Solaris and Windows Server environments.
- Support Apache Web Server administration and configuration.
- Utilize enterprise monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and SolarWinds to monitor application health and performance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, dashboards, and knowledge articles.
- Gather technical artifacts to support audits, compliance initiatives, and cybersecurity reviews.
- Collaborate with project managers, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity personnel, system stewards, and business stakeholders using Agile methodologies.
- Document requirements, defects, and enhancements in Jira while supporting successful project delivery.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions for recurring issues.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Eight (8) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for the required degree.
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience supporting enterprise applications, software development, or systems administration.
