Job Summary:

The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, automating, monitoring, securing, and optimizing an organization’s technological backbone. This role involves creating scalable, high-performance infrastructures, implementing automation to streamline processes, establishing robust monitoring systems to ensure operational health, and enforcing effective security measures. Strong analytical, logical, and communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement resilient, scalable infrastructure solutions that support current needs and future growth.
Develop and integrate automation tools to streamline deployment, configuration, and management processes.
Establish and maintain monitoring and logging systems to proactively identify performance bottlenecks and system failures.
Implement security protocols and best practices to safeguard infrastructure against vulnerabilities and potential threats.
Optimize system performance by analyzing existing setups and applying improvements, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to strategic infrastructure planning.
Document designs, processes, and system configurations clearly to support future maintenance and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in infrastructure design, automation, monitoring, security, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, or similar).
Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Nagios, or equivalent).
Solid understanding of security best practices and performance tuning techniques.
Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic technical environment.
