Math Instructor (Part-Time) – We Train You!

We are hiring a Math Instructor who is passionate, friendly, and excited to help kids succeed.
This Math Instructor role is ideal for anyone who enjoys working with students, building confidence, and making learning fun.
If you care about kids and want meaningful work, this Math Instructor position is for you — we’ll teach you the rest!

Quick Role Summary

As a Math Instructor, you will work directly with students in a supportive learning center environment, providing one-to-one and small-group math instruction. You’ll motivate students, celebrate progress, and help each child build confidence and academic success.

This role is also a great fit for anyone interested in being a teacher, tutor, or future education leader.

Responsibilities

Provide engaging one-to-one and small-group math instruction as a Math Instructor
Create a welcoming, encouraging learning environment for students and families
Help students build confidence, motivation, and strong math skills
Follow Mathnasium’s teaching and instructional methods (full training provided)
Track and communicate student progress to Center Managers and team members
Support daily center operations and classroom flow
Work collaboratively with other instructors, teachers, and center leadership

Requirements

Comfortable with math concepts through Algebra 2 and Geometry
Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic personality
Ability to connect with both children and parents
Reliable and able to work afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts
Interest in working with kids in an instructor, tutor, or teacher role
Experience with children is preferred but not required

Schedule & Availability

This is a flexible part-time Math Instructor position designed to work well for college students, future educators, and professionals seeking afternoon and evening hours.

Most shifts take place:

Weekday afternoons and evenings
Weekends as needed

Preferred availability begins at 3:00 PM on weekdays.
