Full Job Description

IDR is seeking a Cybersecurity Business Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Suwanee, GA. This role involves supporting cybersecurity architecture governance, vulnerability management prioritization, and risk/compliance alignment across the enterprise. The position requires a hands-on, stakeholder-facing professional who can drive requirements elicitation, security governance, and reporting efforts.

Position Overview for the Cybersecurity Business Analyst:

Supports cybersecurity architecture governance, vulnerability management prioritization, and risk/compliance alignment across the enterprise.
Acts as a liaison between cybersecurity teams, IT architecture, vulnerability management, and business stakeholders.
Helps translate security findings and requirements into actionable work for application and infrastructure teams.
Drives requirements elicitation, documentation, and process improvements.
Supports evaluation of new security technologies and maintains architecture documentation.

Requirements for the Cybersecurity Business Analyst:

3–7+ years in Business Analysis combined with cybersecurity / IT risk experience.
Strong ability to write clear security requirements (functional and non-functional).
Solid understanding of security controls and core cyber concepts.
Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies, working with product/app/infrastructure teams.
Capable of translating technical findings into business risk language and managing stakeholders.
