Full Job Description

Responsibilities

Assist the Executive Chef in the daily operation of the kitchen.
Lead, coach, and develop BOH staff while maintaining a positive team environment.
Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of every dish leaving the kitchen.
Supervise and actively work all stations as needed, including:
Broiler
Sauté
Fry
Prep
Fresh Pasta Production
Maintain proper food safety and sanitation standards.
Manage ticket flow and kitchen communication during peak service.
Assist with inventory, ordering, receiving, and food cost control.
Train new employees on recipes, procedures, prep standards, and cooking techniques.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency throughout the kitchen.
Work closely with FOH management to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Help create daily features and contribute to menu development.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of culinary leadership experience in an upscale or fine dining restaurant.
Strong experience with:
Broiler
Sauté
Fry Station
Prep
Fresh Pasta Making
Ability to lead by example and work alongside the team during busy services.
Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken required; written preferred).
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

Asistir al Chef Ejecutivo en las operaciones diarias de la cocina.
Liderar, capacitar y desarrollar al personal de cocina (BOH), manteniendo un ambiente de trabajo positivo.
Garantizar la consistencia, calidad y presentación de cada platillo que sale de la cocina.

Requisitos
