Job Description

Would you like to be part of a team of passionate individuals with a goal to make STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) Education a priority for younger students? If this sounds like you, we would love for you to be part of our team!

Qualifications: We are looking for a talented individual with a familiarity in at least one STEM Field who can teach foundational STEM concepts to Elementary School Students. You should be passionate about STEM Education with an openess to share your STEM knowledge and expertise with the next generation. We are looking for an individual that exhibits a dynamic and exciting personality and is able to work in a team environment. You should be comfortable with technolgy in the classroom, and be able to learn new skills and STEM concepts quickly.

Duties: As a STEM Velocity Instructor, you'll be working with young children (Ages 5-12) by exectuing our lesson plans and activities in a classroom. You will help students learn through Presentations, Discussions and hands-on Activiies. Topsc Include but are not limited to: Drones, Robotics, Science (Biology, Physics chemistry) Engineering, and practical math concepts.

Review Lesson Plans and Materials before class begins
Prepare Classroom and Setup activities prior to class
Collect students and take attendance
Present lesson plans and facilitate hands-on activities
Supervise Students
Capture and submit photos of participants
Clean up after class

Requirements:

Experiance working with Young Children (Ages 5-12)
Excellent communication skills
Public Speaking
Time management
Friendly and Approachable Personality

Salary: $15.00/hour + Bonus + Scholarship + More!
