At least 7 years of experience leading the functional discovery and gap analysis process to map current supplier portal capabilities and SNC transactions to equivalent Ariba CRE/SCC/SBN functionality
Configure and stand up SAP Ariba CRE and SCC environments per business requirements, leveraging out-of-the-box capabilities to their fullest extent before recommending customization
Drive the SNC-to-Ariba SBN migration, including supplier data migration, transaction history mapping, and business process alignment
Define and execute Ariba SBN supplier enablement and onboarding strategy, coordinating with supplier-facing teams
Collaborate with the Work Stream 2 BTP team to identify integration touchpoints and define APIs or event-driven interfaces between the Ariba SCC/SBN platform and SAP BTP extensions
Develop and maintain functional design specifications, configuration workbooks, and test scripts aligned to solution design standards
Lead system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) for all CRE/SCC/SBN scope, including coordination with stakeholders
Support decommissioning planning for the legacy Liferay/SNC environments, ensuring functional coverage is validated before cutover
Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to internal team to enable ongoing operations post-engagement
Perform detailed analysis of the existing custom .NET and Liferay portal features to identify and document the subset of functionality that cannot be delivered through Ariba CRE/SCC out-of-the-box configuration
Architect and build SAP BTP extensions and side-by-side applications that replicate or modernize the identified custom portal capabilities on a cloud-native, supportable platform
Develop integrations between SAP BTP and Ariba SBN using SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration / API Management), ensuring consistent data flows and transactional integrity
Leverage SAP Build Work Zone or equivalent BTP portal capabilities to deliver a seamless unified supplier experience that spans both Ariba SBN and BTP-hosted components
Implement security, role-based access control (RBAC), and identity federation requirements using SAP BTP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and Identity Provisioning Service (IPS)
Collaborate with Work Stream 1 to define cross-platform integration contracts, shared data models, and event-driven notification patterns
Produce technical design documents, API specifications, and developer runbooks compliant with Aerospace architecture standards
Support SIT and UAT for all BTP-hosted components and integrations, ensuring end-to-end traceability back to legacy portal requirements
Contribute to the legacy portal decommissioning plan by confirming functional equivalency and clean migration of relevant data assets
Provide knowledge transfer to internal BTP engineers and ensure all custom developments are maintainable post-engagement
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
In CA, WA, NY, CO, MD, IL, MN, NJ: $94,000 to $131,600
In Washington, DC: $85,700 to $124,600
