Position Overview:

7Diamonds, a leading lifestyle brand in the apparel industry, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Experienced Technical Designer. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with 4-10 years of experience in the apparel industry to grow and develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Measure and authorize all apparel samples to ensure quality and accuracy.
Fit all apparel samples to ensure proper sizing and fit.
Review and finalize trims before tech packs are completed.
Update line art sketches in tech packs to reflect accurate design details.
Work cross-functionally with the production team to confirm timelines, trims, and fabrications.
Communicate with overseas manufacturers to finalize apparel specifications, including sizing, construction, grading, and measurements.
Manage a high volume of email communication with vendors and suppliers.
Collaborate with various departments including marketing, sales, customer service, and shipping.
Adapt quickly to changing priorities and work effectively against short deadlines for product approval.
Utilize strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills, managing multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting important deadlines.
Exhibit excellent time management skills and prioritize tasks effectively.
Display adaptability, an analytical mindset, and an investigative approach to problem-solving.
Demonstrate eagerness, passion, and self-motivation to tackle challenges and find solutions.

Qualifications:

4-10 years of experience working in the apparel industry as a technical designer.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with various departments.
Adaptability, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
