Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Network Administrator to join a local team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our organization's network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity, security, and performance.

Responsibilities
- Manage and support the organization’s network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
- Integrates IP telephony systems with enterprise LANs, WANs, wireless LANs, and other Internet-based services and protocols.
- Implement and maintain network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Automate deployment processes using tools like Terraform and CI/CD pipelines to streamline infrastructure provisioning.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot technical issues related to operating systems (Windows, Linux), hardware, or software components.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate APIs and support container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Manage system administration tasks across various operating systems, including Windows and Linux servers.
- Support project management activities related to IT infrastructure upgrades or new implementations using Agile methodologies.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Participate in planning for disaster recovery strategies and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware such as servers, routers, bridges, switches, hubs, modems, network interface cards, and so on.
- Knowledge of LAN, WAN, WLAN, and WWAN design and implementation.
- Knowledge of network protocols, router/switch configuration, and network troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of local area network administration.
- Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with data management
- Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information.
- Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
Preferred Certificate or Licenses:
- CCNA Cisco Certified Network Associate or equivalent Cisco Certification, COBIT 5 Foundation, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
