Full Job Description

Our client, a leader in the insurance industry, is seeking a Sr. Project Manager - Data Management / Data Governance to join their team. As a Sr. Project Manager - Data Management / Data Governance, you will be part of the Data Governance Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to project execution, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr. Project Manager - Data Management / Data Governance

Location:Remote (must be able to work EST hours)

Pay Range: $65-70/hr

What's the Job?

Lead end-to-end Data Governance and Data Management initiatives within enterprise IT projects.
Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure project success.
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and overall delivery execution.
Develop detailed project plans using Waterfall methodology and monitor progress.
Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.

What's Needed?

5-7+ years of current Project Management experience, specifically leading Data Governance or Data Management projects.
Proven track record delivering enterprise IT projects from planning through implementation.
Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, invoice reconciliation, and financial tracking.
Strong expertise in Waterfall project methodology.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with both business and technical teams.
