Our mission is to educate, support, and connect our community through thoughtful content and practical resources.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team member to help support the day-to-day operations of our WordPress website and digital communications. This is not a developer position. Instead, we're seeking someone who is comfortable working in WordPress, enjoys solving problems, has a good visual designer eye, and is willing to learn.

You'll work closely with our Managing Editor, Founder, Marketing Team, and web developer to keep our website and communications running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Upload and format articles for the SevenPonds Magazine in WordPress, working with our Managing Editor.
Assemble and schedule our monthly newsletter in Mailchimp.
Troubleshoot basic WordPress website issues and coordinate with our developer when needed.
Respond to customer support requests related to website logins, event listings, and other basic website questions.
Serve as the liaison between the Founder and our web developer for website improvements, updates, and issue resolution.
Clean up and update older magazine posts and website content.
Assist with basic website hosting tasks when needed.
Coordinate with our Marketing Team on website-related projects.
Help maintain the overall quality, organization, and appearance of the website.

Qualifications

Working knowledge of WordPress.
Familiarity with Mailchimp or a willingness to learn.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good written communication and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
A visual eye for layout, formatting, and presentation.
Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

Experience with website hosting or customer support is a plus but not required.

Position Details

Approximately 10 hours per week.
Fully remote.
Work hours are flexible, though some responsiveness during normal business hours is helpful.
Time is tracked using TopTracker during working hours.
