Full Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

NetAlly's largest channel relationship — CDW — is sized like a strategic growth lever, but it's currently being managed tactically; the rest of the channel similarly need true love. You'll change that. This role owns channel marketing strategy: MDF allocation and governance, co-marketing program design, partner enablement, and the measurement framework that proves channel spend is working. You'll also write or closely direct the co-marketing content this work depends on — battlecards, partner-facing one-pagers, joint campaign copy — since there's no dedicated content role to hand that off to. And you'll be able to scale by giving structure and growth path to the existing tactical channel hire, who will report to you.

What You'll Own:

Own channel marketing strategy and budget allocation across CDW and other key distribution/reseller partners, including Amazon
Design and govern MDF programs: approval workflows, proof-of-performance requirements, compliance guardrails, and disbursement
Build the joint activity calendar with partners — webinars, ABM campaigns, events, sales enablement, spiffs/incentives — sequenced around partner fiscal calendars and sales cycles
Write or closely direct channel partner sales enablement content: training materials, battlecards, co-branded one-pagers, working from existing messaging rather than starting fresh each time
Build and report on channel-specific KPIs: attach rate, partner-sourced pipeline, MDF spend efficiency, and rep engagement
Manage and develop the existing tactical channel marketing hire, shifting their work from purely reactive execution toward planned, measured programs
Represent marketing in quarterly business reviews with major channel partners
Flag proactively when partner-specific content needs (e.g., a new case study for a vertical CDW is pushing into) genuinely require dedicated content resourcing

What Success Looks Like:

NetAlly's attach rate on partner-sourced network deals measurably improves over a two-quarter cycle
MDF spend is fully documented, audit-clean, and tied to proof of performance — not just invoices
Channel partners proactively propose joint marketing activities rather than only responding to NetAlly-initiated requests
Partner-facing content stays current without bottlenecking on outside writing support
The existing tactical hire is operating with clearer priorities and growing into more strategic work over time

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

3+ years hands-on Marketo administration (certification a strong plus, not required)
Demonstrated experience building lead scoring models and engagement programs from scratch, not just maintaining existing ones

Preferred Skills:

4+ years in channel or partner marketing at a B2B technology or hardware company
Direct experience managing MDF or co-op fund programs, including compliance and proof-of-performance processes
Track record of building always-on nurture programs, not just one-time campaign blasts

What You Bring:

Confident, clear writer — this role does not have a dedicated copywriter to lean on for partner enablement content
Comfortable presenting to and negotiating with partner marketing/sales leadership, not just executing on their requests
Experience managing or mentoring a more junior or tactically-focused team member
Familiar with major IT channel/distribution dynamics (CDW, SHI, similar VARs/distributors) a strong plus

Nice to Have:

Experience with government/public sector channel motions and contract vehicles
Background in network, security, or test & measurement hardware channel programs

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
