Full Job Description

We are a Twin Cities based Water Treatment Plant Contractor with over 30 years in the industry and are seeking experienced concrete finishers to join our crew. Concrete carpenters will also be considered. Prefer experience in commercial/industrial flatwork, wall pours and suspended slabs. Ideal candidates are reliable, hard-working, and take pride in their work.

This position involves a variety of tasks, not just concrete work. Additional desired skills include framing, pipefitting, and heavy equipment operation.

Knowledge or experience with water and/or wastewater treatment is a plus.

Work locations in metro and surrounding areas—no or very limited travel required. Must be able to reliably commute in Twin Cities region or willing to relocate.

Pay depends on experience. Full-time position with competitive wage & benefits. Dedicated and dependable hard-working applicants will advance quickly.

Responsibilities:

· Finish slabs with hand and power tools

· Finish walls, including grinding and rubbing

· Assist in layout, form and pour concrete walls using Symons forms, as well as concrete slabs & footings

· Set grades and elevations

· Perform other construction duties as needed

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Physical Requirements:

· 5-10 years trade related experience

· Safety knowledge & skills

· Strong communication skills

· Proper use and maintenance of tools

· Ability to multitask, take direction & work well within a team

· Ability to work in confined spaces

· Ability to occasionally lift 100#

· Ability to climb and work at up to 30’ heights

· Must have a valid class D drivers license and reliable transportation, Class A CDL is a plus
