Job Summary

AEM is looking for a hands-on HR & Finance Generalist who will be responsible for supporting daily human resources and financial operations within the organization. This role manages employee-related activities, payroll coordination, budgeting support, accounts processing, compliance, and administrative tasks to ensure efficient business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources Duties

Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including LMS
Maintain employee records and HR documentation
Assist with recruitment, interview scheduling, and hiring processes
Coordinate employee benefits, leave, attendance, and payroll inputs
Assist to process the payroll
Handle employee inquiries and provide HR administrative support

Finance Duties

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
Maintain financial records and filing systems
Support payroll processing and reconciliation
Prepare basic financial reports and spreadsheets
Coordinate with external auditors, vendors, and finance teams as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
2–3 years of experience in HR, finance, or administrative roles
Knowledge of payroll systems, HR practices, and accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Experience with HRIS or accounting software is preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and team spirit

Attention to detail and accuracy
Confidentiality and professionalism
Time management and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Analytical and HR/Finance filling, reporting skills
Microsoft-Suite programs experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Basic 2-3 years of HR and Finance experience.
Familiar with the state laws, labor law and labor codes is preferred.
Recruiting, HR payroll and advanced book keeping experience is a plus!
Semiconductor industry background is preferred.
Ability to travel to CA office is a plus!

Work Schedule

This position may be structured as:

Part-Time: Flexible schedule based on business needs.
Full-Time: Standard weekday schedule with occasional support outside normal hours if employees issues arise.
