Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to manage and support our on-premises and cloud-based IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for system reliability, security, and performance, with a strong focus on Microsoft, Azure, and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and support Windows and Linux servers (on-prem and cloud).
Manage users, permissions, and access (Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID).
Monitor systems, performance, and security; troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Maintain backups, patching, and disaster recovery processes.
Support networking (DNS, IP configuration, subnets, routing, hybrid IaaS).
Document configurations, procedures, and system changes.
Collaborate with IT and business teams on projects and improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of system administration experience or equivalent.
Windows Server and Linux administration.
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy.
Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls).
Virtualization (VMware vSphere and/or Hyper-V).
Microsoft Azure administration, including:
Entra ID, VMs, VNETs, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults
Azure Arc, SQL Managed Instances, Intune, Azure DevOps
Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint).

Preferred Skills

SQL Server / MySQL (SSMS, basic query modification).
Scripting: PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, Bash.
Monitoring tools: Datadog, Microsoft Sentinel.
Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
Databricks experience is a plus.

Ideal candidates will have experience with most of the technologies listed, as these systems are used daily.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
