Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure and automation processes. In this role, you will drive continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), optimize system performance, and ensure the security and reliability of our enterprise software solutions. Your expertise will empower development teams to deliver high-quality applications efficiently while maintaining robust IT infrastructure and cloud security standards. Duties

Develop, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and OpenStack, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
Design and implement containerization strategies utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and VMware to streamline application deployment and management across environments.
Automate configuration management and provisioning with tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, and PowerShell to enhance operational efficiency.
Oversee continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, TFS, Maven, Gradle, and other industry-standard tools to accelerate software release cycles.
Monitor system performance with tools such as New Relic, Splunk, Elasticsearch, and Log analysis platforms; troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Manage enterprise middleware including WebSphere, Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat, and IIS to support diverse application architectures.
Ensure IT security best practices by configuring firewalls, implementing cloud security measures, managing identity & access management (IAM), and conducting incident response activities.

Qualifications

Proven experience in DevOps engineering within enterprise environments involving complex IT infrastructure.
Strong proficiency with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or OpenStack.
Extensive hands-on experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), virtualization (VMware), and scripting languages including Python, Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, Groovy, Perl, Ruby on Rails.
Familiarity with enterprise software deployment tools like Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab/TFS for CI/CD pipelines; version control systems including SVN and Git.
Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle; experience with SQL/PLSQL/T-SQL for database management.
Expertise in system administration tasks on Linux/UNIX/Windows Server environments; understanding of network administration including DNS, TCP/IP protocols.
Ability to implement disaster recovery plans and ensure cloud security compliance across multiple platforms.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on software troubleshooting, debugging complex issues in distributed systems.
