Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Structural Steel CAD Drafter to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer-aided design (CAD) and a passion for creating precise and innovative designs. As a CAD Drafter, you will be responsible for producing detailed drawings and schematics that support various projects, including interior design and architectural layouts. Your expertise in software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD will be essential in bringing our concepts to life.

Responsibilities

Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on project specifications and requirements.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to develop accurate schematics and layouts.
Utilize software tools such as SolidWorks/AutoCAD 3D to draft high-quality designs.
Revise and update drawings as necessary based on feedback from team members or clients.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all drafting work.
Assist in the preparation of project documentation and presentations for stakeholders.
Maintain organized files of all drafts and revisions for easy access by team members.
Programming CNC machines as needed.

Requirements

Proficiency in CAD software including SolidWorks/AutoCAD, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of interior design principles and architectural drafting techniques.
Experience with 2D animation is a plus but not required.
Ability to build accurate models and schematics that meet project specifications.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills to convey design ideas clearly to team members and clients.
