About the Position
We are looking to hire one or two dependable, hands-on people with a strong skilled trades background. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and likes using different skills from day to day.
We are especially interested in candidates with welding and metal fabrication experience, but this is not a welding-only position. The right person will be comfortable helping with fabrication projects, shop improvements, equipment modifications, building remodel work, general maintenance, repairs, and other hands-on projects as company priorities change.
Our immediate priority is completing the remodel and build-out of our facility so we can move part of our current operation into the updated space. That remodel is important to the future growth of the company and will create additional room for fabrication work. As the fabrication side of the business grows, this position will continue to be involved in welding, fabrication, shop projects, equipment improvements, building maintenance, and facility upgrades.
We are a growing small business, so we need people who are not locked into one narrow job description. The right person will enjoy being useful in multiple areas and will take pride in helping build, fix, improve, and maintain the things that keep the company moving forward.
