Full Job Description

Qualifications:

Must live in Riviera Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, or Jupiter

· Have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license with no suspensions.

Must successfully pass a 30+ year background check.
· A genuine passion for teaching students of all ages.
· You must be patient, professional, and compassionate.
· Ability to pass all background checks.
· Must be able to sit for long periods at a time.
· Spanish speaking is a plus.

Benefits:
· All Instruction is done in the Safety Council of Palm Beach County vehicles.
· We Pay you for any expenses to become a certified instructor.
· Starting Pay: $21.00 per hour.
· We drive during daytime hours, seven days a week.
· Flexible working hours.

Responsibilities

Instruct students in behind-the-wheel driving techniques, ensuring they understand safety protocols and traffic laws.
Develop lesson plans that cater to individual learning styles and needs.
Manage classroom environments effectively, fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
Communicate clearly with students, providing constructive feedback on their driving skills.
Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods as necessary.
Maintain a valid driver's license and ensure compliance with state regulations.

Summary

As a Part-Time Behind the Wheel Driving Instructor, you will be instrumental in teaching students the essential skills needed for safe driving. Reporting to the Lead Instructor, your role involves providing hands-on driving instruction while fostering a supportive learning environment. Core skills in driving and teaching will be vital, alongside your ability to manage classroom dynamics and communicate effectively with adult learners. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, enhancing your ability to connect with a diverse student population. Join us in shaping responsible drivers and promoting road safety.

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 30.0 per week
