Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dental Office Operations Manager to lead our dental practice with enthusiasm and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional patient care, and manage administrative functions to promote a smooth and efficient clinic environment. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold compliance standards, and foster a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and patients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise in healthcare management while making a meaningful impact on patient experiences.

Minimum of 5 years experience in dental administration is required to be considered for this position.

Duties

Supervise daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination to maximize efficiency and patient satisfaction
Oversee financial management tasks such as billing, coding, and insurance claims processing using systems like Dentrix Ascend
Manage human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to build a motivated team
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems
Coordinate with dental professionals and support staff to uphold clinical standards, infection control protocols, and safety procedures
Monitor practice performance metrics, analyze financial reports, and implement strategies for continuous improvement in practice management
Facilitate communication between patients, staff, vendors, and external healthcare providers to ensure seamless operations

Skills

Proven experience in dental office management with a strong understanding of dental terminology and dental records management
Expertise in managing fiscal responsibilities including budgeting, financial management, and revenue cycle processes
Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix Ascend
Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams within a clinical setting; strong human resources skills for staff development and conflict resolution
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards
Ability to handle complex scheduling, billing procedures, insurance claims processing, and acute care workflows
Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced dental environment
