Full Job Description

We are hiring an Office Assistant to join our growing residential construction team.

This position is ideal for someone who has previous experience working in the construction industry and is comfortable using QuickBooks for job costing, project tracking, and construction accounting.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Returning phone calls, emails, and messages
Scheduling Zoom and in-person appointments
Updating team calendars and CRM
Data entry and document scanning
Communicating with vendors and subcontractors
Requesting and comparing vendor pricing
Sourcing construction materials and supplies
Purchasing materials from vendors and local suppliers as needed
Visiting job sites when necessary
Assisting with project coordination and general office operations
Entering bills, invoices, and purchase orders into QuickBooks
Tracking project expenses and assisting with job costing
Helping maintain accurate project budgets and cost records

Qualifications

QuickBooks experience is required. Applicants must be comfortable entering construction-related transactions, tracking project costs, and assisting with job costing.
Previous experience working for a construction company, general contractor, landscape contractor, or similar construction environment is strongly preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Spanish language skills are a plus but are not required.

Hourly pay is based on experience.
