Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Part-Time Telephone Operator - Brooklyn.

In this role, the successful candidate Provide service for telephone communications, and code/trauma conditions.

Job Responsibilities:

Operates communications system Telephone Switchboard
Contacts all hospital personnel in emergency situations
Maintains code book
Maintains telephone database
Interacts appropriately with different levels of management
Pages trauma groups
Announces over head emergency calls
Follows fire alarm emergency procedures
Answers emergency elevator calls
Follows specific procedures for Code Trauma Condition

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a To qualify you must have a High School Diploma required.
Two years of Telephone experience in Healthcare, a Hotel or a large institutional environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
