Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Program Operations Manager to lead and optimize our complex portfolio of projects and initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end management of programs, ensuring seamless execution, strategic alignment, and continuous improvement. Your energetic leadership will foster cross-functional collaboration, drive process excellence, and deliver impactful outcomes that propel organizational success. Duties

Lead the planning, development, and implementation of large-scale programs by applying agile methodologies and project management best practices.
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and success criteria for various projects within the program portfolio.
Utilize tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, and Smartsheet to schedule tasks, track progress, and manage project timelines effectively.
Conduct root cause analysis and leverage Lean Six Sigma principles to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements across teams.
Manage project budgets, control costs, and perform earned value management to ensure financial health of programs.
Oversee risk management activities by identifying potential issues early and developing mitigation strategies aligned with PMBOK standards.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement through Kaizen events, process mapping, and business process modeling to enhance operational efficiency.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure scope management, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication are maintained at high standards.
Facilitate meetings using effective meeting facilitation techniques to ensure clarity of objectives and actionable outcomes.
Supervise project managers and team members by providing leadership, guidance on project lifecycle management, and performance feedback.

Experience

Proven supervisory experience in technical project or program management roles with demonstrated success in leading diverse teams.
Extensive background in project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), and PMBOK.
Strong expertise in program development, design, and implementation across multiple disciplines including IT infrastructure, product development, or business processes.
Skilled in requirements analysis, scope management, risk assessment, data analysis (Excel data analysis), and vendor management.
Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, SharePoint or equivalent platforms.
Knowledge of process improvement techniques including Lean Six Sigma certifications or training preferred.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings effectively and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to manage project portfolios using PPM tools like VersionOne or Workday while maintaining organizational skills for multiple priorities.
Familiarity with IT project management practices including IT infrastructure projects or ERP systems is advantageous.
