Full Job Description

Ryan Smith & Carbine, Ltd. has an opening for a legal assistant. Organizational and administrative skills are required to ensure smooth running of the office and effective file management under the supervision of an attorney. Prior law firm experience strongly preferred. This individual will communicate frequently with the firm's clients in order to serve them well. The ideal candidate will have experience with legal document and case management software; electronic filing in state and federal court; and strong word processing skills. Salary commensurate with experience. Competitive benefits offered.

Responsibilities

Organize and maintain case files, including filing and document management.
Manage schedules, appointments, and communications, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
Support the administrative functions of the law office, including data entry and clerical tasks.

Qualifications

- Must possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, handle a fast-paced environment, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision.

- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.

- Exacting attention to detail. Strong technical and organizational skills.

- Proficient use of software including Microsoft Office and Adobe.
