Paraplanner — Capital Strategies (Albuquerque, NM)

Full-time · In-office · 50k-70k + bonus · CFP® support

We're a financial planning firm built around one niche: dental professionals. Comprehensive, fee-based planning with tax strategy at the center. We're small enough to care, but big enough to deliver. However, we’re growing and looking to expand, By adding a Paraplanner, who will be directly involved with clients from week one.

What you'll do

● Build and maintain financial plans in eMoney — modeling, scenarios, plan updates

● Sit in on client meetings: capture the discussion, own the follow-ups, and grow into presenting sections of the plan yourself

● Run the analysis behind our recommendations — retirement projections, tax and entity scenarios, Roth conversions, debt vs. invest, practice cash flow

● Prepare agendas, plan summaries, and deliverables that are client ready

● Handle account paperwork and servicing through MassMutual/MMLIS

● Keep our data clean and our post-meeting task list closed out

What you need

● Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or equivalent experience preferred.

● 1–3 years in financial planning, wealth management, or a similar analytical role

● Excel savvy and strong comfort with numbers — you catch your own mistakes

● Clear writing and enough presence to hold your own in a client meeting

● Series 7, 66, and Life & Health — or the ability to get them within [6 months]

Nice to have: CFP® (or in progress), eMoney experience, tax planning or accounting background
