Full Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

Provides support to Payroll Department in the administration of Company Payroll and Financial Benefits for all Shoestring Valley Holdings subsidiary companies. Assists in monitoring and processing union payroll regulations and labor adjustments. Manages and processes employee timecard data and communicates with employees as necessary to ensure timely payment. Assists in daily office needs and handles general administrative activities.

Corporate Payroll Manager

JOB CLASSIFICATION AND HOURS

Hourly / Non-Exempt Employee

The Employee is expected to work Monday through Friday during established business hours, but no more than 40 hours/week. Overtime, if any, must be pre-approved in writing by direct Supervisor.

LOCATION

Corporate Office

QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL SKILLS

· Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

· Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and scanning machines

· Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Power Point)

· Proficiency in CMiC and other electronic data programs which may be utilized by the company.

PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES

· Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work.

· Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

· Working knowledge of union pay requirements and company payroll policies, and direct deposit system.

· Maintains strict confidentiality of all personnel and payroll matters.

· Excellent customer services skills and willingness to support the employee payroll needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· General Payroll Department Support: Aids in the administration of company payroll and financial benefits.

· Payroll Specialist III should be able to perform all duties of a Payroll Specialist I and II as well as the below listed additional responsibilities:

o Process weekly payroll for business units as assigned including weekly tax reporting

o Assist in training Payroll Specialist I & II

o PTO corrections

o Finalizing and submitting union reports and payments

o Setup all non-union employee health benefits

o Finalizing and uploading weekly 401k file

o Process overhead labor adjustments

o Employee transfers

o Etime/ESS setup

o PTO setup

o Process irregular bonus runs

o Process taxable benefit adjustments

o Create and maintain how to documents

o Assist with external audit documentation

o Other duties as assigned
