Full Job Description

GRITT Business Coaching has been contracted to find the ideal Client-facing Payroll Specialist for Tesseon.

This role is built for an experienced Paycor payroll professional who combines strong technical execution with an elevated, client-focused approach. You will own payroll end to end for a defined portfolio of clients and serve as their trusted payroll partner each cycle.

You will be the reliable and client-centric expert that clients rely on. You communicate clearly, stay ahead of deadlines, and guide clients through payroll questions, changes, and corrections with confidence. Your approach brings structure and consistency to every payroll, creating a steady, predictable experience for clients.

You’ll be joining Tesseon at an exciting point in our evolution as we expand how we deliver Paycor-powered payroll services. This role sits at the center of that growth, helping clients experience the benefits of modern payroll technology paired with a steady, relationship-driven service experience.

You will work inside Tesseon’s Paycor-powered platform, running live payrolls, resolving issues before they impact pay, and maintaining consistent communication throughout the payroll process. This is a full-time role with a consistent client portfolio, established workflows, and internal support.

What You’ll Do

Process live payroll accurately and on time for multiple clients using the Paycor platform
Own assigned client payrolls end to end, from data intake through post-payroll review, corrections, and follow-up
Serve as the primary payroll contact and trusted advisor for your clients
Proactively communicate payroll deadlines, changes, and required actions so clients feel informed and supported
Guide clients through payroll questions, corrections, and updates with calm, professional communication
Identify, research, and resolve payroll discrepancies before payroll is finalized
Use Paycor reporting and system tools to support audits, accuracy checks, and compliance
Follow established processes, checklists, and quality standards to ensure consistency
Partner with internal teams to deliver a seamless, high-quality client experience

Payroll is processed accurately and on time every cycle
Clients feel confident because expectations, timelines, and next steps are always clear· Issues are addressed early with thoughtful follow-through
Clients view you as responsive, approachable, and reliable
Paycor is used effectively to support payroll processing, reporting, and compliance

Required Qualifications

3 or more years of hands-on Paycor payroll experience in a production environment
Direct experience running live payrolls, including corrections and issue resolution
Experience supporting multiple clients or accounts simultaneously
Strong attention to detail with disciplined organizational habits
Ability to communicate payroll information clearly and confidently to clients with varying levels of payroll knowledge
Professional, steady communication style with a service-oriented mindset
Comfortable managing deadlines and multiple payroll schedules in a structured environment

Preferred Experience

Payroll bureau, managed services, or multi-client environment experience
Experience with additional payroll or HCM platforms such as ADP, Paychex, Paycom, or Paylocity
Exposure to HR, timekeeping, or benefits systems is a plus
