Full Job Description

We are looking for candidates to join our team who have integrity and a strong work ethic.

CONTACTS AND RELATIONSHIPS
This position interfaces with department management, department staff and other Plans’ staff. Phone contact with participants, participants’ representatives, producers, payroll services and Guild Employees.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Make follow-up calls on outstanding invoices with participants, producers and payroll services.
Prepare and mail Final Demand letters.
Prepare contribution reports and back-up documents for allocation on collection payments received.
Prepare input forms for Data Processing.
Retrieve various documents from Laserfiche.
Responds to contributions-related phone inquiries from both participants and production companies/payroll services.
Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical abilities
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to proofread for accuracy in grammar and typing
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to accept direction and developmental guidance from supervisor
Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Some college with two years of customer service or collection experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Possess manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Position requires bending, reaching, walking, and lifting of up to 10 lbs.
