Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in various activities needed to enhance Makani’s Optimization appliance such as:
- Writing Perl scripts to automate test reporting
- Scope, design and implement robust components for Makanis product offerings.
- Enhance test infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs found in the product during testing
- Contribute ideas to make the group more efficient, effective and successful.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable expert with Perl scripting.
- Demonstrable expert with C programming.
- Experience with multiple operating systems (Linux, Unix, W2K-W2K3)
- Preferred - Some optimization experience. NAS, SAN, Clustering, Replication, RAID, Backup / Restore strategies.
- Preferred - Some knowledge of L2, L3 Networking (Routing, VLANs).
- Preferred - Experience in various dev/test/release capacities.
- BS in CS, EE or related field, plus four or more years applicable experience. MS preferred.
