Full Job Description

Position: Infrastructure Project Coordinator

Location: 1 Park Ave, New York, NY 10016

Duration: 12 month contract + extensions

Working Hours: 9am–5pm

Rate: $30-$35

Day-to-Day:

Support the PMO within a large healthcare organization's Enterprise Technology department
Partner with Senior Project Managers supporting infrastructure and construction-related technology projects
Coordinate meetings, schedules, and project updates
Attend meetings and document action items, meeting minutes, and status updates
Create and maintain project documentation, reporting, flowcharts, and presentations
Assist with budget tracking and project status reporting
Communicate with project teams, business stakeholders, and C-level executives

Must-Haves:

3+ years of Project Coordination and/or Project Management experience
Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and Macros
Strong Microsoft Office experience, specifically Project and PowerPoint (creating presentations/decks)
Experience creating and maintaining project documentation, meeting minutes, presentations, and flowcharts
Experience supporting IT infrastructure projects (hardware refreshes, desktop deployments, network services, structured cabling, data center projects, etc.)
Experience working with executives and business stakeholders
Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Self-starter with a go-getter mentality
Bachelor's degree

Duties

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other civil engineering project management software.
Oversee project timelines, ensuring all phases are completed on schedule by coordinating daily activities and resolving scheduling conflicts promptly.
Assist in preparing accurate construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid and construction estimating tools to support budget planning and cost management efforts.
Monitor project progress through regular site visits, utilizing Civil engineering project management software like Primavera P6 for tracking milestones and deliverables.
Manage contract documentation, change orders, and procurement processes to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project specifications.
Conduct analysis of Excel data related to project costs, schedules, and resource allocation to inform decision-making and improve efficiency.
Facilitate effective communication across teams by organizing meetings, preparing progress reports, and maintaining comprehensive records of all project activities.

Experience

Proven project management experience within the construction industry, particularly in civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
Hands-on construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with construction scheduling, site safety protocols, and field operations.
Strong proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and civil engineering project management tools.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent time management skills in fast-paced environments.
Solid understanding of contracts, procurement processes, and cost control principles within construction projects.
Analytical skills for Excel data analysis related to project performance metrics and resource planning.
Effective communication skills for coordinating teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
