Legal Office - Records Clerk - Full Time

We also offer Technology-Enabled Outsourcing support for eDiscovery, Litigation Support and Electronic Document Management services.

We are seeking a candidate with records and/or scanning and imaging experience who is ready to step into a hands-on role. You will be part of a team that handles scanning and managing of files. Do you have experience with scanning and file prep? Then please apply so we can get you on board!

Hourly Compensation: $21.00 to $22.00 per hour USD DOE.

This position requires the employee to have access to reliable transportation

Position Details: This direct hire role is full time and performs office services support work. Hours will range within M-F 7:00AM- 6:00PM. No nights, no weekends. The work location is downtown Minneapolis, directly off Nicollet Mall. Business appropriate dress standards are required.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities may include:

After files are identified for scanning:
Prep files for scanning (removing paper clips, staples, creating slip sheets, etc.)
Make sure scanning configuration settings are correct
Scan files according to established procedure
Quality Check all scan jobs (comparison of physical file to electronic scan)
Ability to work in the Firm’s document management system to save scans
Manage disposition of paper file back to the Records Center
Sorting and delivery of files
Boxing files
Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude
Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment
Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines
Take direction from supervisor or site manager
Participate in cross-training
Maintain all logs and reporting documentation; attention to detail
Adhere to all safety procedures
Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) - College Degree is a plus and allows a fast track plan to management
Customer Service/ Hospitality/ Retail background preferred
Professional appearance and demeanor
Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
Competency in performing multiple functional tasks
Ability to meet employer's attendance policy
Access to reliable transportation
Lifting up to 50 pounds
