Full Job Description

Job Summary

Wainscot Media is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Print Production Manager to oversee print operations for its magazines, including both company-owned and custom titles.

Responsibilities

Create print orders based on quantities specified by the circulation manager
Create annual master schedule in conjunction with the printer
Work with the printer to speed workflow and ensure quality on press, in the bindery, and in logistics/fulfillment
Work with our paper broker to ensure correct paper specifications for each title and that orders and delivery are timely
Work with the printer to ensure that paper use, inventory, and storage are being managed well
Review printer invoices, monitoring printer compliance wth contract fees and paper usage
Support the sales effort by obtaining cost quotations from printers for ad hoc print jobs and proposals
On custom titles, contact clients directly to obtain their customer mailing lists, relay postage estimates, and ensure the clients submit postage deposits in advance of mailing

Your expertise will ensure our magazines are produced efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality—driving success through strategic leadership and operational excellence.

Pay: $45.00 per hour
