Chief of Staff

Location: Tacoma, WA (On-site)
Type: Full-time
Reports to: President

About the Role

At Cascade Print Media, we’re looking for a high-performing Chief of Staff to be the right hand to our President and the backbone of our daily operations. This isn’t your average admin role — it’s part operations manager, part personal assistant, part creative problem solver. If you’re the kind of person who loves putting out fires, creating order from chaos, and taking full ownership of results — let’s talk.

What You’ll Do

Operations & Team Oversight (60%)

Lead day-to-day operations across print, production, shipping, and customer service
Own project timelines, team scheduling, and internal communication flow
Ensure orders move smoothly from intake to delivery with high accuracy and speed
Proactively identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies — then fix them
Collaborate with sales and estimating to align capacity with customer needs
Track key operational KPIs and report to President weekly

Executive Support (25%)

Act as a trusted partner to the President — handle follow-ups, scheduling, prep, and reminders
Join high-level meetings and turn strategy into action
Serve as an internal liaison when the President is unavailable
Help hold the team accountable to goals and deliverables

Creative/Design Support (15%)

Support with light graphic design tasks, including internal docs, presentations, or quick-turn print jobs
Coordinate with our design team and/or vendors on larger creative projects
Maintain branded templates and visuals for internal and client-facing materials

You Might Be a Fit If You:

Thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
Have 3–5+ years in operations, project management, or production leadership
Are assertive, but emotionally intelligent — you know how to have hard conversations tactfully
Have strong communication and organizational skills — you never drop the ball
Are tech-savvy and comfortable with tools like Asana, Slack, and job tracking systems
Can confidently manage up, down, and across — you’re not afraid to challenge ideas when needed
Bonus: Have graphic design experience (Adobe Suite, or similar)

Role Requirements

Full-time availability (primarily on-site in Tacoma, WA, with some offsite meetings)
Strong leadership presence — able to earn trust and drive accountability
Able to multitask and manage competing priorities under pressure
Strong systems mindset and operational follow-through
Bonus: Familiarity with print, production, or creative agency workflows
