Job Overview

We are seeking a entry to mid-level dynamic and motivated Business Development/Inside Sales team member to drive our growth within the sustainability food service packaging development sector. In this role, you will leverage your experience in sales and business development to identify new opportunities and nurture client relationships. Once fully trained, your energetic approach and consultative selling skills will be essential in engaging potential clients and understanding their needs, while presenting our program. This base pay + commission position offers a unique chance to contribute to impactful environmental initiatives while developing your sales career in an innovative, forward-thinking environment.

Duties

Conduct outbound calling and online campaigns to generate leads and build a robust pipeline of potential clients interested in making technical submissions to our company
Engage prospects through cold and warm calling, telemarketing, and phone communication to introduce our services and identify their needs
Develop and maintain strong relationships with B2B clients by providing consultative sales support and tailored solutions
Utilize CRM software to track interactions, manage contacts, and update sales activities efficiently
Negotiate deal terms, close sales, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop outreach strategies that enhance brand awareness in the sustainability sector
Adopt sales technology tools to optimize outreach efforts, streamline workflows, and improve overall sales performance

Experience

At least two years of proven experience in inside sales or business development within a fast paced industrial or technical area, foodservice related, or the sustainability sectors is highly desirable
Strong track record of closing deals effectively in B2B environments
Familiarity with CRM software and other sales technology platforms
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions clearly and confidently
Experience in telemarketing, outbound calling, and consultative selling approaches
Knowledge of sales processes related to technical customers (chemists, engineers, biologists) or related services is a plus
Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
