CRITICAL MASS SUPPLY CHAIN
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

We are Operations and Supply Chain Experts creating the most robust and resilient Beverage Brands of Tomorrow. Our experience, expertise, sense of urgency and tireless attention-to-detail make Critical Mass the only choice for supply chain strategy and execution. We are Operations & Supply Chain Experts focused on creating comprehensive Operational Launch & Scale Strategies and Tactical Action Plans… and then we execute those plans on our Client’s behalf. We are tightly focused on executing both the critical and routine Operations & Supply Chain activities, working alongside Client Accounting and Sales Teams to build an efficient and scalable Order-To-Cash Process.

The Supply Chain Manager will work closely with Managing Director/s in the planning, management and execution of the Supply Chain and Operational initiatives within our organization as well as those of our Clients. The individual will support the management of the supply chain of CMSC Clients including purchasing, procurement, production, logistics, innovation, quality control and project management.

1. Lead and execute all aspects of supply chain projects including procurement, production / supply planning, logistics and demand planning

2. Purchasing and Procurement: Establish new vendor/supplier relationships and manage existing relationships with current vendors and suppliers. Source the most sustainable ingredients in the world.

3. Innovation & Quality Control: Provide cost comparison evaluations for new vendors, suppliers and projects. Manage expectations to consistently deliver the highest quality raw materials and finished goods.

4. Production & Demand Planning: Coordinate and execute production priorities with Co-manufacturers to meet stock demands; ensure proper levels of raw material inventory and finished goods to meet customer demand.

5. Logistics: Manage the network of 3PLs as well as the company's own warehouse

6. Demand Forecasts: Work with the sales and marketing teams to understand demand drivers and create accurate forecasts

7. Negotiation: Be able to effectively negotiate terms with suppliers (packaging and ingredients)

8. Metrics & Reports: Create, maintain and evolve reporting and metrics related to supply chain and operations activities.

9. Documentation & Organization: Create, manage and implement standard operating procedures for CMG and our Clients.

10.People & Relationship Management: the ability to manage people (buyers, planners, warehouse personnel, production personnel, office staff, etc.) and build successful internal and external relationships is a critical element of this role.

1. Bachelor’s degree

2. Experienced in the food and beverage industry (3+ years)

3. CPG supply chain management background in food or beverage industry highly preferred (3+ years)

4. Strong planning and organizational skills along with excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication, and presentation skills

5. Full competence with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) with advanced Excel skills

6. Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

7. Must have the ability to be successful in conditions which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules and demanding deadlines; demonstrated ability to excel in a hands-on, fast paced entrepreneurial environment

8. Highly adaptable and resourceful

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
