Full Job Description

Glentronics, a family-owned business located in Lincolnshire, IL, is seeking a new member for our team. Over the past 30 years Glentronics grew from a small company selling our products in the Chicago area to a growing enterprise, selling our pumps and accessories throughout the United States and Canada. Our products and customer service are exceptional, and we’re looking for a team member to continue that proud tradition of quality and innovation. We are looking for a talented and experienced individual to assist the accounting team and support the orders department as needed. This position allows for close collaboration with the orders and shipping and receiving departments. Glentronics is an environment that allows the candidate to become part of the overall process ensuring our customers are fully supported. Excel skills are required. SAP experience is a plus.

Accounting Assistant Responsibilities

· Provide backup support for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

· Support Avalara Sales Tax filing and maintenance

· Maintain Salesmen Commission tables in SAP

· Review invoicing to Canadian customers

Order processing Support

· Manage retail compliance disputes tracker

· Enter orders into SAP as overflow support

· Follow up on open items linked to invoices, payments, credits, and chargeback to ensure timely resolution

Qualifications

· Minimum 2 years of accounting experience

· Proficient in Excel

· SAP Business One experience is a plus

· Strong overall computer skills

· Excellent organizational skills

· Exception attention to detail

· Strong problem-solving skills

· Effective oral and written communication skills

· Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and continual follow up on open issues
