Full Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Settlement Coordinator to join our team and assist with the creation, processing and tracking of documents for cases involving personal injury settlements. In this role, you will be trained to coordinate and manage the settlement process, facilitate clear communication between clients, legal teams, claim professionals, and other stakeholders. While we are looking for someone in an entry level position, the opportunity exists to grow into becoming a key member on a well-compensated team of highly knowledgable individuals.

Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end settlement process for structured settlement transactions, including document creation, circulation and tracking.
Interface with new and existing clients
Ongoing learning and familiarization with new product requirements
Help where help is needed on a small team of dedicated employees

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes
Familiarity with legal documents and court processes or a willingness to learn
Excellent client communication skills coupled with a customer service-oriented approach
Ability to produce accurate work-product under pressure and time constraints
Law office experience or background helpful but not absolutely necessary
Willingness to learn
